  • December 18 – Full Moon 27°29′ Gemini at 11: 36 p.m. EST

December 4 – The New Moon in Sagittarius is a time for travel, celebration and shopping. With Mars making a trine to Neptune, faith and good will are everywhere during the holidays. However this month, the December New Moon could bring some speed bumps for the immigration, travel, and holiday shopping—due in part to the new variant in the coronavirus.

This is because of the total solar eclipse when the Moon darkens the Sun. This Solar Eclipse will take place over Antarctica, so .only people living at the most southern tip of South American, Africa, Australia and New Zealand will glimpse the phenomenon. They could also be the most effective during the next four months.

With Moon close to Mercury, people feel the need for change, but are not sure of direction. Many may need to rethink priorities due to a declining economy. Most Americans now feel the pinch of a declining economy due to the Saturn-Uranus square.

Wise minds will view the next two weeks as a speed bumps—a sign to slow down. Try to remain flexible and see all the options when planning travel. The planet of reality, Saturn, sextile Mercury (communications) will help people to remain sensible during the intense eclipse phase. Best advice, go forward with plans but remain flexible for last minutes changes. Count your blessings--give cheerfully to the less fortunate!

December 18 – The Full Moon in Gemini, the sign of communications, arrives just in time for the holidays. It is in good aspect (trine) Jupiter, the party planet. People want to express their good wishes and expand their horizons. Since people tend to be emotional and less rational under the Full Moon, so watch your words and behavior. The Moon makes a wide square to Neptune which can make everyone more sensitive and nostalgic. Share Christmas classics such as Elf, A Christmas Story, or It’s a Wonderful Life with someone you love.

The Full Moon is also a great time for meditation especially when Mercury makes trine to Uranus. It is a good for new ideas and creative pursuits. It is also favors technology. Some good news is on the horizon involving technology which should give a Christmas bonus to the stock market!

Note on Saturn square Uranus after Christmas

Saturn square Uranus is a major planetary aspect that occurs every 22 years. The Saturn square Uranus aspect is exact on December 24. The United States is now ready for a financial reboot with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus. The events that take place December 2021, January 2022, and February 2022 will have a world-wide effect on the financial markets in the United States and abroad.

Best advice: Take time to reevaluate your possession and values. Conserve finances. Be more aware of the planet’s needs. Recycle. Move away from a disposable society. Learn to slow down and enjoy relationships more. Most of all live in peace wherever you are in life.

Like their symbol, the sea-goat, they may take three steps forward and two steps back in life. However, they will succeed because of their focused energy where many others give up. They usually thrive on hard work and will stay with challenges. Their key phrase is, I USE. As they age, they may learn to lighten up. Born with old heads on young shoulders, they are one sign that may seem to grow younger.

Saturn completes the grand trine to Neptune and Jupiter showing protection and guidance from Above.

If he had lived, he surely would have written many books. His Mercury is exalted in Aquarius, in the tenth house of career, indicating writing and lecturing abilities. November Moon Cycles

  • November 4 – New Moon at 12° 40′ Scorpio at 5:14 p.m. EDT
  • November 19 – Full Moon and partial lunar eclipse 27°14′ Taurus at 3:59 a.m. EST

New moon at 12° 40′ Scorpio at 5:14 p.m. EST. The new Moon in Scorpio favors recycling, estate sales and bargains. The Moon is in its fall so people are apt to be sensitive. They want change but feel disconnected from government. It is important to remain patient and resist the urge to make harsh judgments or quick decisions.

That said, November 2 -6 can be very difficult due to the opposition to Uranus. It is better to finish projects than to take on a new one. The Moon’s energy is just too irregular. Everything seems to take longer than anticipated.

On a positive note, expect some help from your friends as Mercury (mind) makes good aspect to the planet of harmony, Venus. Use good communication skills and a positive, hopeful attitude to deal with stresses cause by the Moon opposite Uranus (planet of change) While Uranus can also make people impulsive, Venus brings good business sense and more kindness. Be patient. If traveling, leave early and allow for delays.

On the national scene the desire for change has been brewing for several months. With Saturn square Uranus, it has been a difficult year for many. The two planets make their final square is on December 24. With people so discouraged and polarized, there is likely to be discord and even riots in some areas.

November 19 – Full moon and partial lunar eclipse 27°14′ Taurus at 3:59 a.m. EST. The Full Moon in November arrives just in time for holiday gatherings. It is the sign of Taurus which rules food, comfort, and compassion. This Full Moon is known as the frost Moon because it is time when nature slow down. People too will be spending more time indoors.

They may not be able to travel far with the price of gas and COVID, but they will celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family close to home. With the Moon square Jupiter, watch the tendency to over-indulge and over-spending. Enjoy Thanksgiving, but keep politics out of dinner conversation!

On the national front, there are many concerns with the Full Moon in the same degree as the fixed star Algol, a star of misfortune. We may see the passing of a world leader before the end of the year. Since the Full Moon makes a trine to Pluto, innovative government measures will keep the country running through the speed bumps indicated by the eclipse.

A note on this eclipse. It makes a close aspect to Pluto in the horoscope of the United States. Government decisions made in the next three month will a far-reaching effect on our country. This is not the time to turn off the news! By February 2022, the United States will have a Pluto return for the first time in 250 years. The nation is ready for a new start in 2022 and 2023.

Sun in Sagittarius November 22-December 21

Sagittarians are born seekers. Their key phrase is, I PERCEIVE. They love travel, sports and adventure. Like their sign, the body of the centaur and head of the archer, they are half party animal, half square shooter. The lower side of Sagittarius can stretch the truth a bit. The higher side is a seeker of higher truths. Generally, Sagittarians have a sense of humor and usually enjoy the outdoors.

Famous Sagittarius ladies: Taylor Swift, Margaret Meade, Tina Turner, Scarlett Johansson, Leslie Stahl, Emily Dickinson, Amy Grant, Caroline Kennedy, Patty Duke. Karen Gillan, Lucy Liu, and Marisa Tomei.

Noted Sagittarius males: Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt, Mark Twain, Frank Sinatra, Kahlil Gibran, Bruce Lee, Blake, Sai Baba, Kirk Douglas, Walt Disney Winston Churchill, Lucas Black, and Brendan Fraser.

Sagittarius of the Month: Mark Twain

“I don't like to commit myself about heaven and hell - you see, I have friends in both places.”

– Mark Twain

Mark Twain was the pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), He was an American author who wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876) and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885). The noted writer was born November 30, 1835 at 4:45 AM Florida, Missouri.

With his Sun in Sagittarius, he had a love of story-telling and with a close aspect to, Mars a love of travel. He has vivid imagination—and an aspect to Jupiter a good sense of humor. His writing was full of exaggeration and good-natured pokes at the pompous.

His Moon in Aries gave the noted writer a generous spirit and out-going nature. He could be quite prophetic indicated by his Moon next to the psychic planet Pluto. Twain correctly predicted, “I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it.”

Astrologers cannot be one hundred percent of his time of birth, but Saturn does appear to be close to his ascendant. This aspect h indicates responsibilities early in life. Twain had his share of sorrows. He lost his father, an attorney and judge when he was just eleven. The following year, Twain left school after the fifth grade to become a printer's apprentice. Tragic struck again when his brother Henry later died in a tragic river boat accident.

His early life had its share of adventures. With Jupiter in Scorpio making fortunate trine to Mercury in Cancer, Mark Twain loved to travel as well as spin a tall yarn. For while made his living on a river boat and later as a reporter in the West.

When he was ready to settle down, Mark Twain was fortunate in his choice of a wife. In February 1870, he married Olivia Langdon. The couple had four children. However, their happiness with tempered by early deaths of two. The devoted parents lost their first born, Langdon who died at 19 months and later their daughter Susie who died from meningitis age 21.

Twain had a great love for humanity as well. This is indicated by a grand trine between the Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Aries and the midheaven in Leo. When he believed it was right, he was willing to stand up for others. Twain was an adamant supporter of the abolition of slavery. He noted sagely that Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation “not only set the black slaves free, but set the white man free also."

Everyone may be in a hurry as the New Moon forms a square to Pluto. This may create drama which is best to ignore. Focus. Instead on the many good things that come with spring and Aries energy. The super Full Moon will force the nation to deal with issues that the country has been avoiding. This could bring more division in the country as conservatives resist change and progressives want to make sweeping changes.

With Venus making a trine to Pluto in her natal horoscope, the marriage was destined “till death do us part.” The couple were blessed with four children.

Of course, no life is without some struggles. Mars in Aquarius close Jupiter gives strong will but the square to Saturn in the ten house of career would indicate her power came through disagreement. This is true. She wasn’t supposed to be Queen but, she became an heir to the throne when her father, George King, became king after his older brother, Edward VIII, chose Wallis Simpson over his duty. Mars square Saturn often indicates challenges with male relatives. The monarchy was later plagued by scandals involving Prince Charles and more recently Prince Andrew.

Throughout her reign, the queen has managed to remain poised and in good health. However, Buckingham Palace has announced that the queen will not celebrate her 95th birthday this April with a birthday parade because of the coronavirus. Fortunately, longevity is in her genes. The Queen Mother lived until age 101.
