With his Moon (emotions) in Capricorn, he was prone to bouts of depression. Fortunately, he had Mars (energy) in the sign of the law, Libra, which indicates a passion for justice. However with a square to his Moon, justice would come at a great price.

Born with Mercury in the gentle sign of Pisces, he was kind and had a sense of humor. As Lincoln reminded us, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.” Lincoln also had a psychic side. Shortly before his death, he had dream in which there was a body lying in state in the White House. He demanded to know who it was. One of the soldiers answered "The President" was his answer; "he was killed by an assassin!"

While deeply affected by the dream, the President did not allow it to interfere with his duties. He was always forward-moving. Abraham Lincoln served during the worst of times in our nation, yet he remained hopeful about the future of the United States. Lincoln never wavered in his faith in people or America: “My dream is of a place and a time where America will once again be seen as the last best hope of earth.”
